Open Question: What are the best bass guitar strings for jazz

I am going to play bass guitar in 8th grade jazz band. I am going to play an Ibanez GSR200. Is it really very crucial what kind of strings I have? I know that the stock strings are always terrible, but do I need really good like, D'addario chrome flatwounds? I looked in to those, but they're $30 for four of them.
